Papa's Helper

On a recent visit to Papa and Mema's house, Ian decided he wanted to help Papa build his deck. He was quite handy with the hammer and triangle. AND yes, the deck was still standing when Ian got done with it!

Howdy Partner

It is no secret around these parts that the sun rises and sets for Ian's Papa and Mema. When they are around, it is Mommy and Daddy WHO? Their relationship is heartwarming and wonderful to see. On a recent visit from Papa and Mema, they brought him a Sheriff Woody hat. OH LIFE IS COMPLETE!! I'm suprised he took it off to sleep.

Daddy's Pilot

Ian was so excited to give his daddy a fathers day present. He picked out an Air Hog Airplane that they could fly together. We went to the park and all was good until the airplane started to fly and then crash. Ian was so distraught claiming "Daddy broke it!" Daddy assured Ian that it wasnt broken and he fixed it. After about 20 minutes of flying Ian exclaimed "NO FLY NO FLY" So the boys hung up their wings for the day. I think after a few more lessons they will be flying aces!

My Bebe

Ian just adores his Auntie Bebe. When she recently came to spend the day with him I thought he was going to jump through the door trying to get to her when she arrived. The day was filled with hugs and loves for Bebe. She said it was Ian's day so we went to the Buzz store. I dont think we will ever get Buzz and Woody out of his hands AND we know that Bebe will always be in Ian's heart.

Tough Guy with a Soft Side

This past weekend we took Ian to Marine World and he absolutely loved it. We discovered that he isnt much of a thrill ride kind of guy yet as he screamed on the kiddie train. So, we decided to stick to the animal attractions. Ian was an angel all day just taking in all the animals and wanting to see "MORE ANIMALS" with every step. One attraction he had to see twice was the Butterfly exhibit.

I knew he had it in him but tonight Ian proved that he is a big time HAM! There we were in the playroom and out of the blue he grabbed his ears and said "Hi, I'm Mickey Mouse." Ian then proceeded to tell me that I needed my camera and wouldnt stop yelling "CHEESE!"

What is it, Mommy?

Oh those inquisitive words that every parent loves to hear. With a furrowed brow, Ian pointed to his arm wondering "What it Mommy?" Is it a boo boo, I thought? Hopefully not. Perhaps some dirt? That's usually the case...but not this time. It was a FRECKLE! With much enthusiasm, Ian showed off his freckle to Daddy and me for the rest of the evening. Belle and Suzy were not as excited but we thought it was grand!
